Saying &#8220;It&#8217;s all stuff we&#8217;ve kinda seen before&#8221; is a bit inaccurate, to be fair. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay are superb in their roles as imprisoned abductee mother and &#8220;room-schooled&#8221; son. I smell some Oscars here, although those knuckleheads will probably get it wrong.
