Ms. Hathaway&#8217;s performance is riveting.<\/p>\n<p>Somewhat unusually, I was prepared for MovieNight this week when the first guest arrived. The down side of that? I took the opportunity to shake myself up a Beefeater gibson at the beginning of the night, rather than much later. Of course, one gibson lead to another, and another, and another. My head hurts. In the <a title=\"This is great. Click it.\" href=\"http:\/\/womenshistory.about.com\/od\/quotes\/a\/dorothy_parker.htm\" target=\"_blank\">words of Dorothy Parker:<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>I like to have a martini,<br \/>\nTwo at the very most.<br \/>\nAfter three I&#8217;m under the table,<br \/>\nafter four I&#8217;m under my host.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rather realistically,\u00c2\u00a0 she stopped at four in this quote, so I&#8217;m not sure what she would have been &#8220;under&#8221; if she&#8217;d had as many as I. Ground?\u00c2\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t rhyme.\u00c2\u00a0 Hey, how about this?<\/p>\n<p><em>After five I&#8217;m somehow still able,<br \/>\nafter six, &#8220;Goodbye&#8221; I&#8217;m toast.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Live and learn.
